My name is Kathryn MacPhee. My story began with a passion for developing and leading strong, cohesive teams and helping businesses succeed. I saw a need for personalized, results-driven consulting services, and set out to create a company that would meet that need. Today, my team continues to uphold that same passion and commitment to innovation and excellence.
I am a proud ST.FX grad in Human Kinetics and also have had the privilege to complete a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership at the MSVU. I have an extensive background in Recreation Management with a focus in Aquatics, but teaching and mentoring have always been what gets me jazzed.
My previous role as the Lifesaving Society's Programs and Communications Manager, provided me a front row seat to hot topics and trends within the Aquatic Industry. This role combined with my extensive background managing a variety of Aquatic Facilities has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience that I love to share with Managers and my participants.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun and I work hard to make both happen. I take a learner focused approach and use humor, story telling and interactive activities as my primary teaching tools. My business is also my passion; I will always make the extra effort to provide you with an excellent experience. I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and your team.

Because you just don't know what you don't know. This course is excellent for those with no Aquatic background (also great for those with one too!) who are now responsible for overseeing a pool. We will review all rules that govern Aquatics and explore how to build necessary layers of protection around your facility. This is an awesome networking opportunity to meet other Aquatic Professionals in the industry.
Stopping preventable drownings from happening in the Dominican Republic
We have partnered with a nonprofit from the Dominican called Happy Dolphins. Together, we are going to make some exciting things happen.
Our Mission has 3 primary Goals:
1) Train new lifeguards to make beaches and pools safer while also providing youth with meaningful employment opportunities.
2) Train swim instructors so that there are opportunities for Dominicans to learn to swim. We are specifically excited to train swim instructors for 3 incredible Foundations that provide education, care and life skills to children impacted by severe generational poverty.
3) Train trainers from and based out of the Dominican Republic, so that the Happy Dolphins team can be empowered and completely self-sufficient.
